Trainee Sprinkler Fitter

Trade Assistant
to join our Perth Fixed Facilities team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in the fire protection industry.
You'll work alongside experienced sprinkler fitters, learning how to install, service and maintain commercial fire sprinkler systems across a variety of customer sites throughout Perth and surrounding areas.
No sprinkler experience is required—we're looking for someone with the right attitude, willingness to learn and solid work ethic.

About the Role
As a Trainee Sprinkler Fitter /Trade Assistant you will assist qualified technicians with the installation, maintenance, testing and repair of fire sprinkler systems while developing the skills required to become an experienced sprinkler fitter.
You'll learn how to:
Install and maintain commercial fire sprinkler systems
Assist with servicing pumps and fire protection equipment
Read drawings and follow installation plans
Use hand and power tools safely




Complete job documentation accurately
Maintain equipment and company vehicles
Work safely in accordance with Australian Standards and WHS requirements
Deliver professional customer service on site
Every day is different, with work across warehouses, office buildings, shopping centres, mining facilities and industrial sites.
About You
To be successful you will have:
Essential
Strong mechanical aptitude
Enjoy practical, hands-on work
Current Australian Driver's Licence
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Reliable with a strong work ethic
Good communication skills
Able to work safely as part of a team
Able to pass a pre-employment medical
Construction White Card
