The Opportunity
ROUSSOS Recruitment is partnering with one of Australia's leading property developers in the search for a Development Manager to join its South Australian team.
This is a unique opportunity for a Client-Side Project Manager, Project Manager, or experienced construction professional looking to transition into property development with the support of an established and highly regarded organisation.
With a strong national presence, a secured pipeline of projects, and a reputation for delivering high-quality residential communities, this business offers the structure, systems, and experienced leadership needed to support your development into a well-rounded Development Manager.

The Role
Working closely with experienced Development Managers and senior leadership, you will gain exposure across the full development lifecycle while progressively taking ownership of projects.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting residential and mixed-use developments from acquisition through to project completion
Coordinating consultants, contractors, authorities, and project stakeholders
Assisting with project programming,



budgets, feasibility, and reporting
Managing project risks, approvals, and development milestones
Working closely with construction teams to ensure successful project delivery
Building strong relationships with consultants, contractors, and external stakeholders
Contributing to the identification and delivery of future development opportunities

You will bring:
Experience as a Client-Side Project Manager, Project Manager, or similar role within construction or development
Exposure to commercial, residential, mixed-use, or land development projects
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Commercial awareness and an understanding of project delivery
A proactive attitude with a genuine desire to learn and develop within property development
The ability to work collaboratively within a structured, high-performing team
