About the role
We are seeking a Kitchen Steward / Attendant to join our energetic team at Binna Burra Mountain Lodge in Beechmont, Queensland.
This is a casual position, offering the flexibility to work around your schedule.
As a Kitchen Steward / Attendant, you will play a vital role in supporting our kitchen operations and ensuring the smooth running of our hospitality services.
What you'll be doing
Thoroughly cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas to the highest standards of hygiene
Assisting the kitchen team with food preparation tasks as required
Stocking and replenishing kitchen supplies to ensure efficiency
Disposing of waste and recycling materials in an environmentally responsible manner
Adhering to all food safety and workplace health and safety regulations
Providing exceptional customer service to guests and colleagues
What we're looking for
Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment, preferably as a Kitchen Steward or Attendant
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
Ability to work efficiently and effectively as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Enthusiasm for the hospitality industry and a passion for providing exceptional customer service
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, as required
