Amy Hurd Early Learning Centre is seeking an experienced and passionate Centre Director to lead our community focused service.

About the Role
The Centre Director and Nominated Supervisor will oversee daily operations, lead and mentor educators, ensure compliance with NQF/NQS requirements, and build strong relationships with families, staff, and the wider community.
You will champion a positive workplace culture and uphold the centre's vision for safe, nurturing, and meaningful learning environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead, support, and inspire a team of educators
• Ensure regulatory compliance, documentation, and reporting
• Maintain high standards of safety, supervision, and wellbeing
• Build solid partnerships with families and community stakeholders




• Manage enrolments, staffing, rosters, and centre administration
• Drive continuous improvement and uphold quality practices
About You
• Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education
• Previous leadership experience in an early learning setting
• Strong understanding of NQF, NQS, and regulatory requirements
• Excellent communication, organisational, and people management skills
• A collaborative, warm, and professional leadership style
