YEM Technology is seeking experienced
Instrumentation Electrician
to join our team at the Sino Iron Project, located at Cape Preston, 100km southwest of Karratha in Western Australia.
This is a FIFO role from Perth on a 2:1 roster with both permanent and casual arrangements available.

YEM Technology is a Western Australian maintenance, commissioning, construction and electrical company specialising in fixed plant maintenance, shutdown maintenance, greenfield and brownfield SMP E&I; construction services across the mining and mineral processing sectors.
Since ****, YEM has been proudly servicing the Sino Iron Project, the largest magnetite operation in Australia, as the principal contractor on site.

About the Role
You will be carrying out instrumentation maintenance, calibration, and fault-finding across fixed plant systems in a heavy industrial environment.
The work is varied and technically demanding.
We need people who can work independently, diagnose faults effectively, and operate safely without constant supervision.
What You Will Be Doing
Maintenance, calibration and fault-finding on instrumentation and control systems




Installation and commissioning of instrumentation and electrical systems
Testing and inspection of electrical and instrumentation equipment
Compliance with WA electrical regulations and site safety requirements
Supporting shutdown activities as required
What We Are Looking For
Essential:
Electrical Instrumentation Qualification - UEE***** / UEE***** / UEE***** / UEE*****
WA A-Grade Electrical Licence
First Aid and CPR (12 months)
Working at Heights (WAH) (5 years)
Elevated Work Platform (EWP) High Risk Work Licence
Valid Australian driver's licence
Mining or industrial experience
Full Australian Working Rights
Clean-shaven.
Mask fit is mandatory and non-negotiable on-site
Desirable:
Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC)
Power Station or Desalination Plant experience
Other Trade Qualifications
