About the role
An exciting chance is available for a Business Support Officer to join our Fleet & Waste Services team at our Operations Centre in Middle Swan.
This position is being offered on a fixed-time basis, commencing as soon as possible until 22 January ****.
In this role, you will provide a diverse range of business support services across multiple operational functions, including customer service, procurement, recruitment, contract administration, training coordination, safety administration, reporting, document and procedure preparation, data entry, and general office administration.
You will also provide administrative support for procurement activities, including processing invoices and raising or amending purchase orders, as well as assisting with basic minute taking for team meetings.
Working closely with operational teams, you will play a key role in coordinating and responding to a high volume of requests, ensuring enquiries are appropriately prioritised and directed to support productive business outcomes.
Key Accountabilities include, but are not limited to;
Provide timely and highly quality customer service to all customers
Provide administrative support to the Management Team
Administer procurement processes in accordance with the City's Procurement Policy
Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
About you
The successful candidate will have the following:
Experience in an operational office environment including providing high quality customer service, data entry, general office duties and report and procedure writing skills
Proficient to advanced competency in Sharepoint and Microsoft suite – Excel, Outlook, Word, Power Point with an ability to become familiar with other relevant programs
Sound written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Current 'C' Class Driver's Licence
A current satisfactory National Police Certificate

The salary
for this position will be from $74,****** to $90,****** per annum, depending on the skills and experience of the successful applicant.
