ABBA Engineering is growing our FIFO Dewatering & Projects Team and we're looking for an experienced, hands-on Dewatering Technician to join us.
This is an exciting opportunity for hands-on technicians who enjoy working across dewatering systems, mechanical maintenance, pipeline installation and site services.
You will be part of a skilled team delivering critical infrastructure solutions across Western Australia's mining industry while continuing to develop your technical skills.

About the Role
As a Dewatering Technician, you will be responsible for supporting the installation, operation and maintenance of dewatering systems across mining sites.
Your duties will include:
Installing and maintaining pumps, pipelines and dewatering infrastructure
Operating and monitoring dewatering systems
Assisting with HDPE pipeline fabrication and poly welding
Excavation, trenching, backfilling and pipeline installation
Operating mobile plant, including excavators, skid steers, loaders and telehandlers




Preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs
Reading drawings and assisting with project installations
Working safely within mining environments
About You
We're looking for a practical, safety-focused team player with experience in one or more of the following:
Dewatering operations
Pump maintenance or mechanical fitting
Mining maintenance
Pipeline installation
HDPE/poly welding
Civil construction or earthwork
License & Tickets
Current MR or HR License
Telehandler, Excavator and Skid Steer tickets
Current Australian Driver's Licence (MR preferred)
White Card
High Risk License (highly regarded)
Working at height & Confined Space (Highly regarded)
