Network Engineer
for a large-scale infrastructure transformation project.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on a complex program that will modernise ICT services across more than 95 sites throughout metropolitan and regional Western Australia.
Working alongside experienced architects, project specialists and technology vendors, you'll play a key role in designing, validating and implementing enterprise networking solutions that support a up-to-date, secure and resilient technology environment.

About the Role
As the Network Engineer, you'll provide technical expertise across the design, implementation and optimisation of enterprise network infrastructure in a large multi-site environment.
You'll be involved throughout the project lifecycle-from reviewing network architecture and producing detailed technical designs through to building proof-of-concept environments, supporting deployments and providing ongoing technical guidance.
What You'll Be Doing
Validate and develop enterprise network designs (HLDs and LLDs)
Design and support routing, switching, LAN/WAN and MPLS environments
Configure and support enterprise security technologies including
Zscaler, Fortinet and Juniper
Build and test Proof of Concept (PoC) environments
Develop IP addressing strategies,



network segmentation and security standards
Support Microsoft 365 Calling, wireless infrastructure and core network services
Troubleshoot complex networking issues and optimise network performance
Produce high-quality technical documentation and implementation procedures
Collaborate closely with Solution Architects, project teams and technology vendors to deliver successful outcomes
About You
You'll be an experienced Network Engineer with a strong background delivering enterprise infrastructure projects across complex environments.
You'll bring experience with:
Enterprise routing and switching
LAN/WAN and MPLS technologies
Zscaler, Fortinet and Juniper platforms
Network design and architecture (HLD/LLD)
IP addressing, subnetting and network segmentation
DNS, DHCP and enterprise network services
Cloud networking, SASE and Zero Trust principles
Cybersecurity best practices, including the Essential Eight
CCNP certification (or equivalent experience)
