Warehouse Forklift Driver – Casual

We are seeking experienced Forklift Drivers to join our Intermodal team in Merbein on a casual basis.
This role is responsible for supporting the safe and efficient receival and despatch of stock across the warehouse and/or cool room environment.
You will be involved in forklift operations, stock movements, truck and container loading, product handling, and general warehouse support while maintaining strong safety and compliance standards at all times.
The Merbein PDs specifically frame the role around receival/despatch, warehouse and cool room operations, forklift loading, system updates, and secure handling of produce/stock.
Key responsibilities include:
• Loading and unloading trucks and containers as directed
• Moving, checking and handling produce and stock in line with customer and operational requirements




• Ensuring product integrity and reporting any damage promptly
• Completing scanning, paperwork and system updates accurately
• Conducting equipment checks and maintaining general cleanliness of work areas and equipment
• Following all site safety, SHEQ and operational procedures at all times
• Supporting the broader team to ensure smooth day-to-day warehouse operations
We would like to hear from you if you have:
• Current LF Forklift Licence
• Current Driver's Licence
• Minimum 12 months' forklift operating experience
• Minimum 12 months' warehouse operations experience
• Good computer literacy and ability to complete paperwork accurately
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions
• Strong attention to detail and a reliable, safety-focused approach
• Physical fitness to manage manual handling requirements
Desirable:
• Experience in shipping, logistics, warehousing or produce handling
• 2+ years forklift experience
• Experience using warehouse systems such as Cargowise
