Job Description
On Behalf of our client SMS Labour , they are looking for Heavy Duty Mechanic/ Fitter to join their team.
SMS labour , under SMS Mining Services , they provide quality mining equipment that ensures peak performance, backed by reliable maintenance for uninterrupted mining operations.
Tasks & Duties:

Diagnose, overhaul, repair, tune, maintain and test diesel and petrol/gas-powered heavy equipment including trucks, buses, dozers and other earthmoving equipment ?
Detect mechanical and electrical faults by using instruments that check charging and starting circuitry, batteries, ignition and ignition timing, fuel injection systems and speed control, cylinder compression, engine condition,



braking efficiency, and wheel balance and alignment ?
Repair and maintain the hydraulic components of diesel and petrol/gas engines that are used to power attachments such as hoists, booms, scrapers, buckets and augers
Skills and experience ?
3+ years' experience with heavy earthmoving machinery ?
Ability to be able to comply with safety requirements of SMS Cutting-edge Mining and the Client to all levels.
?
To be able to work autonomously and in a team environment within your own crew and with cross over crews.
Location of work: Across various locations in WA , Fifo Work may be required.
