Longview Restaurant is looking for an experienced and passionate
Head Chef
to lead our kitchen team.
Located in one of Perth's premier beachfront locations, Longview is a busy, rapid-paced venue operating
breakfast, lunch, dinner, high teas, private functions and events
.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives under pressure, enjoys building strong teams and takes pride in delivering consistently high-quality food and service.

About the Role
As Head Chef, you'll take ownership of all kitchen operations, including:
Leading and inspiring a large kitchen team
Managing breakfast, lunch, dinner, functions and high tea service
Maintaining exceptional food quality and consistency
Rostering and managing labour costs
Controlling food costs, stock and ordering
Training and developing chefs and apprentices
Creating seasonal menus and function offerings with the management team




Maintaining high food safety and kitchen standards
Working closely with venue management to continually improve the guest experience
About You
We're looking for someone who:
Has proven experience as a Head Chef in a busy restaurant, hotel or high-volume venue
Is confident leading large kitchen teams
Can remain calm and organised during busy service periods
Has strong knowledge of food costing, GP and labour management
Has experience running functions and events
Is passionate about mentoring and developing staff
Takes pride in maintaining high standards every day
Has excellent communication and leadership skills
