About the Role:
Can you keep the right people in the right place at the right time while juggling changing priorities and staffing demands?
The Environmental Cleaning Services (ECS) team is responsible for delivering high-quality cleaning services across Canberra Hospital and community-based facilities.
The service plays a vital role in supporting safe, clean, and welcoming environments that enable effective clinical operations and contribute to a positive experience for patients, visitors, and staff.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing coordination and administrative support for workforce operations, including roster preparation and maintenance, leave coordination, and arranging backfill to support efficient staffing outcomes.
You will also monitor workforce data, attendance, overtime, and roster variations, providing advice on routine rostering matters, workforce systems, processes, and employment arrangements.




Our ideal candidate will have prior experience in the use of electronic rostering systems, have excellent administrative, computer, and communication skills, can manage changing priorities and respond to urgent workforce requirements and demonstrated ability to support continuous improvement initiatives.
