Fox Metal Roofing is looking for the right person to join our team in a Roofing Supervisor role.
You might already have supervisory experience.
You might be an experienced roof plumber ready to step away from being permanently on the tools.
Or you might have less experience but be motivated, switched on, willing to learn and ready to take on more responsibility.
We're not necessarily looking for the person with the most years under their belt.
We're looking for someone with a good grounding in metal roofing, the right attitude and the potential to develop.
Someone who takes pride in their work, thinks ahead, communicates well and wants to build a career with us.
The Role
You'll work closely with our roofing crews, clients, builders and internal team to help keep projects moving and ensure the standard of work on site represents what Fox Metal Roofing stands for.
Depending on your experience, we'll support you as you develop into the full responsibilities of the role.
Your day-to-day will include:
Completing site measures and material take-offs
Conducting roof and site inspections
Checking workmanship, quality and compliance
Identifying issues early and helping drive them through to resolution
Liaising with builders, clients, site managers and our internal team
Monitoring progress on site and communicating what is needed to keep jobs moving
Ensuring works are completed to plans, specifications and required standards
Supporting safe work practices across our sites




Providing practical guidance and support to roofing crews as your experience develops
Helping make sure jobs are delivered properly – not just quickly
Who We're Looking For
You'll need practical experience in metal roofing or roof plumbing, but you don't need to tick every box from day one.
We're interested in the person as much as the CV.
You could be someone who already knows the supervisory side of roofing, or someone earlier in their career who has demonstrated that they're capable of more and wants the opportunity to prove it.
What matters to us is that you:
Have practical metal roofing/roof plumbing experience
Understand the fundamentals of good roofing workmanship
Are willing and able to learn site measures, take-offs and roof inspections
Can read, or are willing to further develop your ability to read, plans and construction drawings
Communicate well and aren't afraid to ask questions
Are organised and can think ahead
Take direction and respond well to feedback
Are willing to learn and continue developing
Show initiative without thinking you already know everything
Take responsibility for your work
Don't walk past a problem expecting someone else to deal with it
Take pride in doing things properly
Value safety, quality and being part of a good team
Hold a current driver's licence
Previous supervisory experience is an advantage, but it isn't essential.
