Aged Care Facility.
As a key member of our clinical team, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care that supports the health, wellbeing and dignity of our residents.

Your Role
As a Registered Nurse, you will play a leadership role in the delivery and coordination of resident care.
Your responsibilities will include:
Coordinating and delivering person-centred nursing care in line with contemporary aged care practice
Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments and developing, implementing and reviewing individualised care plans
Providing case management and ongoing evaluation of resident outcomes
Supporting AN-ACC documentation requirements and contributing to funding-related assessments
Administering medications and treatments in accordance with legislative and professional standards
Providing clinical leadership, guidance and supervision to Enrolled Nurses and Care Assistants
Monitoring, documenting and reporting changes in residents' health status and care needs
Collaborating with residents, families, general practitioners and the multidisciplinary team to achieve positive care outcomes
Contributing to quality improvement initiatives and promoting best practice clinical care

Role Requirements




Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse
Current CPR Certificate (or recognised equivalent - BLS/ALS valid within past year)
Current National Police Check (valid within the past three years)
Current Influenza vaccination and at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccination
Demonstrated competence in contemporary nursing practice
Aged Care, Hospital or Community Health experience will be highly regarded
Sound clinical assessment, problem-solving and decision-making skills
Experience supervising and supporting care staff
Good computer literacy and confidence using electronic clinical documentation systems
Willingness to develop and strengthen AN-ACC knowledge and capability
Availability to work a rotating roster, including day, afternoon and overnight shifts as required
