The Opportunity
As Facility Manager, you'll take overall responsibility for the leadership, operations and performance of the Residential Aged Care home.
More importantly, you'll set the tone for the service.
You will:
Build, lead and mentor an engaged and accountable multidisciplinary team
Drive exceptional resident-centred care outcomes
Create a positive workplace culture where employees feel supported and valued
Oversee workforce planning, staffing, budgets and operational performance
Ensure compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and relevant legislation
Lead quality improvement, accreditation and continuous improvement initiatives
Build strong relationships with residents, families and the local community
Work closely with clinical and operational leadership to identify and address areas for improvement
Champion quality, safety and excellence across the home
This is an opportunity for a leader who wants more than simply managing the day-to-day operations of a service.
You'll have the ability to influence how the home operates, develop your people and leave a lasting impact.
About You
You're an experienced aged care leader who knows how to balance compassion, clinical governance and strong operational leadership.
You'll bring:
Current Registered Nurse registration with AHPRA
Leadership experience within Residential Aged Care
Previous Facility Manager experience highly regarded
Strong knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards and regulatory requirements
Experience managing compliance, workforce and operational performance
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop multidisciplinary teams
Strong quality improvement and risk management capability
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
A proactive, resilient and solutions-focused approach
A genuine passion for improving the lives of older Australians
