About the Role:
We are seeking a driven
Executive Chef
to lead the culinary operations at
Crowne Plaza Shell Cove Marina
.
As Executive Chef, you will oversee all food operations across the hotel's restaurant, bar, pool bar, in-room dining, and conference & event offerings.
You will be responsible for setting exceptional culinary standards, leading and developing a high-performing kitchen brigade, and ensuring consistency, quality, and innovation across every dining experience.
Working closely with the hotel's leadership team, this is a unique chance to establish the culinary identity of a brand-new hotel while delivering exceptional experiences for guests across multiple outlets.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee all kitchen operations across the restaurant, bar, pool bar, in-room dining, and conference & event spaces
Deliver menus that are consistent, high quality, and aligned with the hotel's standards
Recruit, train, mentor, and inspire a high-performing culinary team
Manage food costs, labour budgets, stock control, and supplier relationships effectively
Ensure compliance with food safety, WHS, and operational procedures
Collaborate with senior hotel leadership to deliver exceptional guest experiences
Drive consistency, innovation,



and operational excellence across all culinary offerings
About You:
Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Executive Sous Chef within premium hotels, resorts, or high-volume hospitality venues
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, develop, and mentor large teams
Excellent financial acumen, including food cost control, labour management, and menu engineering
Passion for quality, consistency, and delivering exceptional guest experiences
Highly organised with the ability to successfully manage multiple outlets and varied service styles
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
