Ozcare has a full-time opportunity available for an experienced and compassionate Clinical Nurse to join our team at our beautiful Noosa Heads Aged Care Facility.
This position operates across a rotating roster and requires regular weekend work as part of your normal rostered hours.
Your Role
As a Clinical Nurse, you will play a key leadership role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to our residents.
Working closely with the Facility Manager and Clinical Care Manager, you will provide specialist clinical support, guide and mentor nursing and care teams, and promote evidence-based practices that enhance resident outcomes.
You will be responsible for coordinating and evaluating care, supporting clinical decision-making, and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and excellence in aged care.
Your expertise and leadership will help ensure residents receive protected, dignified and holistic care that respects their individual needs and lifestyle choices.
The person we are looking for will have advanced nursing skills and the ability to provide clinical leadership across a range of specialist areas, including:
Continence assessment and management
Wound prevention, assessment and management
Medication management and clinical reviews
Comprehensive resident assessments and care planning
Health promotion, prevention and early intervention strategies
Clinical documentation and care evaluations
Leadership, mentoring and support of Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and care employees
Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment

What's On Offer?

Role Requirements
Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Current National Police Screening Certificate (valid within the past 3 years)
Current CPR Certificate (or BLS/ALS equivalent, valid within the past year)
Current Influenza vaccination and at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine
Experience in aged care, community health or a related clinical setting will be highly regarded
Demonstrated advanced clinical assessment and problem-solving skills
Ability to develop and implement strategies that improve resident outcomes
Intermediate to advanced computer skills and experience using clinical documentation systems
A strong understanding of quality, compliance and accreditation requirements
The ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Availability to work weekends on a regular roster basis is essential
The ability to work across a rotating roster, including evening and night shifts as required
