About the Role
This role is based at our culturally specific
Villa Dalmacia Day Centre
, where you will support consumers in a welcoming, inclusive, and social environment.
A typical day may include assisting with meal service, supporting group activities and social programs, and accompanying consumers on outings and excursions.
You will play a vital role in enhancing the wellbeing, independence, and quality of life of our consumers through the delivery of person-centred support in a secure and engaging setting.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with the preparation and serving of meals
Support consumers to participate in activities, programs, and social events
Assist with excursions and community outings
Encourage independence,
social connection, and community engagement
Follow individual care plans and support consumers in accordance with their identified needs
Contribute to a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for all consumers
Availability
Preferred availability is
Monday to Thursday, 7:45am to 3:15pm
.

To join the White Oak family, you require:
Cert III Individual Support / Aged Care (desirable)
Italian, Croation or Portuguese speaking (highly desirable)
NDIS Worker Screening Check (or ability to obtain)
A minimum of 6 months experience in an aged care support or similar field
A valid WA driving licence (HR license highly desirable)
