About the Role
The Talent Acquisition Administrator is responsible for providing a range of talent acquisition administrative functions to support a team of 6 talent acquisition professionals.
Key activities of the position include, but are not limited to:
- Efficient and timely responses to recruitment enquiries (from supervisors, managers, and candidates) via the central recruitment inbox.
- Provision of routing recruitment advice on talent processes and the applicant tracking system, to both UTS staff and candidates.
- Respond to and resolve internal & external queries.
- Post adverts internally & externally to all available channels.
- Monitor the removal of adverts after closing date or rebroadcast adverts as required.
- Taking responsibility for the preparation of weekly and monthly metric recruitment reports for the Manager, Talent Acquisition and/or People Unit.
- Look after talent team work activity trackers.
- Monitor advertising accounts (such as with SEEK and LinkedIn).
- Provide admin support for Executive Search campaigns as required.
About You
You are an administrative professional with experience in managing a multitude of tasks, preferably in a recruitment setting, through to completion.
To be successful in the role, you will need to demonstrate:
- Highly developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and build collaborative relationships with the team and across People Unit/wider university.




- Well-developed time management and organisational skills.
- Sound ability to exercise judgement and initiative, and to be adaptable where necessary.
- The ability to provide excellent client service in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong IT & database management.
- Power BI and other reporting software exposure.

Base Salary Range:
$85,165 to $97,429 per annum (HEW 5)
This role attracts 17% superannuation
in addition
to the base salary.

This position is
full time
and appointment will be made on a
fixed-term basis for up to 12 months
(to backfill staff secondment).
Hybrid working arrangements are available, which comprises of working onsite at UTS Broadway Sydney campus with remote working.
