About the Role
The Student Welfare Officer (SWO) supports the wellbeing of students by providing pastoral care and implementing strategies that promote a safe and inclusive school environment.
You will work with students, staff, and families to address social and emotional needs, contribute to wellbeing programs, and support the broader school community.
Once appointed, the SWO is required to complete a three-hour (during work hours) online professional learning package (PLP)



aimed at responding to and preventing cyberbullying.
After training, they will be able to respond to and help prevent cyberbullying.

Qualifications and Eligibility
ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) clearance
Certificate IV in Youth Work or Pastoral Care, or Diploma or Bachelor in relevant field
