Hissy Fits is one of Tamworth's busiest independent cafés, known for quality food, great coffee and a team-first culture.
We're looking for an experienced
Cook or Chef
to join our kitchen full-time.
This is a
daytime-only position
with no late nights, giving you the opportunity to build a hospitality career while still enjoying your evenings.
We're ideally looking for a
Qualified Chef
, but we'd also love to hear from:
Demi Chefs
Passionate 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice Chefs
Experienced cooks looking to step up

What you'll be doing
Preparing and cooking café breakfast and lunch service
Maintaining high food quality and presentation
Working efficiently during busy services
Assisting with stock control and kitchen organisation
Following food safety and hygiene standards




Contributing ideas and helping improve our menu
About you
You'll be someone who:
Has commercial kitchen experience
Holds chef qualifications (or currently completing them) - Preferred, but not essential
Takes pride in producing consistently great food
Works well under pressure
Is reliable and turns up ready to work
Communicates well with the team
Wants to be part of a positive workplace culture
Has a genuine passion for hospitality
