We are partnering with a major global organisation seeking an experienced
Senior Network Engineer
to support and enhance complex enterprise network environments that underpin critical operational sites across Australia and internationally.
This is a hands-on technical role focused on the design, implementation, optimisation and support of large-scale networking infrastructure spanning traditional enterprise networks, cloud platforms, secure access technologies and remote connectivity solutions
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting and optimising
Cisco SD-WAN
environments across multiple operational sites.
Configuring and maintaining Cisco routing and switching infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
Designing and supporting
Azure
and
AWS networking solution
s, including hybrid connectivity.
Managing remote connectivity solutions, including satellite-based technologies.
Supporting secure network access and Zero Trust initiatives using modern security platforms.
Troubleshooting complex issues across
LAN, WAN
and
cloud environments.
Working closely with internal stakeholders, managed service providers and technology vendors to deliver infrastructure projects.
Creating and maintaining technical documentation, network diagrams and operational procedures.




Providing technical leadership and mentoring where required
Key Requirements:
Proven experience in a Senior Network Engineer, Lead Network Engineer or similar role.
Robust expertise in
Cisco routing
and
switching technologies.
Hands-on experience with
Cisco SD-WAN
technologies.
Deep understanding of enterprise networking protocols including B
GP, OSPF
and
MPLS.
Experience supporting
Azure
and/or
AWS
networking environments.
Strong troubleshooting capability across enterprise and cloud networks.
Experience working within large and complex enterprise environments.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Highly Regarded
Experience within mining, resources, energy, utilities or other large-scale operational environments.
Exposure to Zscaler technologies and Zero Trust security frameworks.
Experience supporting remote connectivity or satellite networking solutions.
CCNP, CCIE or equivalent certifications
