ABOUT THE ROLE
We are currently seeking experienced
HR / HC Tipper Truck Drivers
to join our team based at Kooragang Island in Newcastle.
This position is casual employment, with a rate of $50 per hour.
The role involves short‐haul transport between vessel and nearby storage facilities within a fast‐paced, safety‐focused environment.
Specific Responsibilities
Driving HR / HC tipper trucks on short‐haul runs from vessel to nearby storage facilities
Operating within a 24/7 roster, including:
Day and night shifts
Weekends
12‐hour shifts
Work collaboratively as part of a team to support container and port operations
Comply with all safety, fatigue management, and operational procedures
Qualifications & Experience
Current HR or HC licence
Previous tipper or port / container operations experience (preferred)
Ability to work a rotating 24/7 roster, including nights and weekends
Robust focus on safety and compliance
Reliable, adaptable, and able to work in a high‐demand environment
