About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused
Service Technician
to join our team.
In this role, you will provide high-quality technical service and repairs for Midwest draper platforms.
You'll be responsible for troubleshooting, carrying out repairs efficiently and ensuring an exceptional customer experience through clear communication and reliable service delivery.
This role is supported with:
Diagnose faults and perform maintenance and repairs on Midwest equipment at customer and dealer sites.
Dismantle, repair, reassemble and install parts to a high standard.
Communicate effectively with customers, provide updates, and deliver exceptional on-site service.




Coordinate service visits efficiently and liaise with the Dalby office to manage workloads.
Complete service records accurately, follow company procedures, and maintain safety and quality standards.
Maintain company vehicles, tools, and devices in valuable condition.
Continuous Improvement: Participate in training, product demonstrations, and ongoing skill development.
About You
To succeed in this role, you'll have:
The ability to spend time in Queensland (company paid) to meet the team and learn about our products
A relevant trade qualification or equivalent experience in equipment servicing or maintenance or a minimum of 3 years of equipment servicing experience if no formal trade qualification is held.
Ability to travel and stay overnight to attend different work sites.
Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
A proactive, self-motivated approach with attention to detail.
A valid driver's license and a commitment to safe work practices.
Presentable and professional appearance.
Excellent time management skills.
You must be adaptable and display a high level of integrity, honesty and reliability at all times.
Agricultural experience will be highly valued.
