WE'RE HIRING: A professional Girl's Girl who connects with our clients like a best friend - before they've even walked in the door
Perth-based | Casual initially / Some flexibility in hours | $40/hr + super + bonus
Are you the kind of person who can talk to a total stranger and have such authenticity in your soul that it can sometimes have them in tears (the positive kind) within ten minutes?
Do you believe a booking call should feel like a conversation with a friend who genuinely wants good things for you - not a sales pitch with a score to chase?
Can you hold a spreadsheet and a woman's whole nervous system in the same afternoon?

We're Crooked Images - a boudoir photography studio and company like no others.
We combine passionate advocacy and business together, standing as the most loved and recommended boudoir and photography art studio in Perth.
We are built on the female gaze, inclusivity, diversity, body autonomy, and the drive to show women how they deserve to be seen.
We carry strong values in how we want to run as a business, and as such - unlike most other studios - we don't operate with the bookings tactic of 'competition-scam' style leads.
This is a big one.
It doesn't align with our integrity as a company and it isn't what we want our clients feeling when they leave.
We do the harder, slower, organic and honest thing - and we need someone who wants to do it with us.
We want to be transparent in saying that because of this, we need to work a lot harder, we feel a lot more pressure, and it can be really hard going some days.
But what we do have because of it, are clients who love and value us, a brand that is incredibly strong and known, and a team that works hard for the cause.
Every client we bring in is earned through trust, story, transparency, and genuine connection - not believing they have won something and then feeling tricked into paying up.
That means this job asks more of you creatively and emotionally than a standard bookings role.
It requires resilience on weeks we need ideas/solutions, self-motivation, and a real belief in the value of our services and the why we do it this way.
The payoff, the emotional reward, is truly beautiful.
Meeting everyday women, hearing their stories, seeing them transform from their shoot, their tears of joy and liberation as they see their beauty and worth in a way they never have before,



in a way they never thought possible, knowing YOU were the first point of contact who stood for them being worthy of this experience, who built that trust in them knowing this is a safe space and we will take wonderful care of them.
If you want an easy numbers-chasing sales job, this isn't it.

WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY DO
Be the first heart of the studio.
Answer enquiries and follow up on leads in a way that feels like genuine care, and stand for them, not conversion.
No cold calling, all leads are from people who have applied, or expressed interest in a shoot experience.
Book through authenticity, not pressure.
Have real conversations.
Share what this experience genuinely does for women.
Maybe ever share your own experiences if you want.
Let people opt in because they want to, not because they felt cornered.
Own the inbox and Google calendar with warmth and follow-through, not just tidiness - VSCO (formerly Tave) is our CRM and bookings systems + we also use Pixieset, Google Workspace, Canva and CapCut.
Think beyond the inbox.
We want a genuine collaborator on new ways to bring in bookings - partnerships, referral loops, community events, past-client reactivation, whatever you dream up.
Bring ideas, not just execution.
Hold client stories with care.
Some conversations will be light and fun.
Some (many) will be heavy and there may be days where you want to scream and start running for parliament to take down the system.
But that's what will make you the perfect one for the job.
As a woman in this world, rage is not only necessary, but it's a bi-product of LOVE.
We wouldn't rage so passionately if we didn't love and care so much.
And it can be beautiful when we turn it to art and advocacy.
Having said that,



it's important to know that some of the stories can be triggering and difficult to read.
We can definitely discuss this further in what that may look like, but it's important to know as you'll need warmth and boundaries in order to both care for the experiences of the client as well as care for yourself in not absorbing it.
Bonus, not essential but admirable: an eye for content - stories, reels, behind-the-scenes moments that reflect real client experiences and our brand.
WHO YOU ARE
You can build genuine rapport and trust with clients.
You're comfortable on the phone, you can balance being a sales gun with your instinct to listen and connect.
You believe fiercely in (AFAB & Trans) women's rights, LGBTQ+ rights, and body autonomy, and you're fully at ease in a nude-art positive space.
You have the emotional range to sit with someone's vulnerability and hit a target - without letting either one compromise the other.
You're a self-starter who can generate ideas, not just follow a script.
You understand - or want to understand - why we won't take the easier, 'competition' business model shortcuts, and whilst numbers of course matter for us to keep operating, you value the important balance of integrity.
Bonus: experience in sales, bookings, or admin in a creative or values-led business.

Casual/semi flexible; days and hours to be worked out together based on your availability and studio needs (based in our East Perth studio)

A small, tight-knit team doing work that actually matters
Depending on skills you possess or acquire, potential for travel interstate/overseas for our shoots and retreats
Opportunity to be part of arranging some of owner Lauren Crooke's art shoots
