About the Role
Working alongside our Venue Manager, you'll help lead the day-to-day operations across our busy hotel, including Percy's Playground, bottleshop, accommodation and functions.
A major focus of this role is
coaching, mentoring and developing our team
.
We're looking for someone who enjoys helping others grow, setting high service standards and building a positive workplace culture.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading the team during service
Training, coaching and developing staff and supervisors
Stock control with ordering, invoicing and stocktakes
Opening, closing and cash management
Supporting bottleshop operations




Beer line cleaning and general bar standards
Help out across the entire venue as required
Maintaining exceptional customer service standards
Ensuring compliance with RSA and venue procedures
Helping build a positive team culture and continuously improve operations
About You
You'll ideally have:
Experience as either an Assistant Venue Manager or Bar Manager
Pub, hotel or high-volume hospitality experience
A passion for training and developing people
A hands-on leadership style
Strong communication and organisational skills
A positive attitude and genuine passion for hospitality
