GP Registered Nurse – Full-Time (38 Hours per Week)
Are you an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse looking to join a fast paced, supportive, patient-focused general practice team?
We are seeking a dedicated
GP Registered Nurse
to join our friendly, community focused clinic on a
full time basis (38 hours per week)
.
This role includes
one rotating Saturday shift per month
and offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where your skills, initiative, and leadership potential are valued.
About the Role
As one of our GP Registered Nurses, you will play an integral role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting the day-to-day clinical operations for our 11 General practitioners.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Providing high-quality nursing care within a General Practice setting.
Immunisations and vaccine administration.
Chronic Disease Management (CDM) and health assessments.
Assisting with procedures and patient education.
Cold chain management and maintaining vaccine compliance.
Ordering and managing clinical stock and vaccines.
Maintaining accurate clinical documentation using Best Practice software.
Supporting quality improvement initiatives.
Providing guidance and leadership to the nursing team when required.
Working collaboratively with our Nursing Manager, GPs, allied health professionals,



and administration staff to deliver excellent patient care.
Essential Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
Current Working with Children Check.
Up-to-date immunisations in accordance with healthcare worker requirements.
Sound understanding of vaccine storage and Cold Chain Management.
A genuine interest in Chronic Disease Management (CDM).
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A positive, proactive, can-do attitude.
The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a supportive team.
An interest in developing leadership skills and supporting the nursing team when required.
Desirable Requirements
Previous experience working in a General Practice setting desirable.
Current Immunisation Certificate.
Experience using Best Practice clinical software.
Experience with clinical stock and vaccine ordering.
