About the role
Flex Pulse Therapy is seeking an experienced Remedial Massage Therapist to join our team on a
contract basis
.
This is an excellent opportunity to deliver high-quality therapeutic massage services to our clients in
Maitland, NSW
.
As a Remedial Massage Therapist, you will play a vital role in our rehabilitation and therapy services, helping clients recover from injuries, manage pain, and improve their overall wellbeing.
This position offers flexibility and the chance to work with a progressive healthcare provider committed to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
Key responsibilities
Conduct thorough client assessments to identify musculoskeletal issues and develop individualised treatment plans
Deliver remedial massage therapy treatments using a range of techniques to address client needs and promote recovery
Maintain detailed and accurate client records, including treatment notes and progress documentation
Communicate effectively with clients about their treatment plans, progress, and self-care recommendations
Liaise with other healthcare professionals, including physiotherapists and medical practitioners, to ensure coordinated care
Ensure a clean, protected, and professional treatment environment
Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations and professional standards
Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment
What we're looking for
Current registration with the Australian Association of Massage Therapists (AAMT) or equivalent professional body
Minimum 2 years' experience as a qualified Remedial Massage Therapist
Certificate IV in Massage Therapy or higher qualification in a related therapeutic discipline
Robust knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology as it relates to massage therapy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients




Ability to work autonomously whilst being a supportive team member
Current First Aid and CPR certification
Professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)
Experience working within a healthcare or rehabilitation setting is highly desirable
Knowledge of injury prevention and ergonomic principles
