The
Project Procurement Specialist
's goal is to provide support to the project delivery teams in the areas of procurement, purchasing, expediting, commercial evaluation, supplier management, transport and logistics.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement lifecycle for project related goods and services, from tendering and commercial evaluation through to contract administration, supplier expediting and delivery coordination.
This role requires solid commercial acumen, stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to negotiate commercially favourable outcomes while ensuring project delivery schedules are achieved.

Responsibilities include:
Manage the end-to-end procurement process for project related goods and services.
Prepare and issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs), Requests for Tender (RFTs) and procurement documentation.
Lead commercial negotiations with suppliers to achieve favourable commercial and contractual outcomes.
Review supplier terms and conditions and prepare conforming contracts and commercial clarifications.
Raise and administer purchase orders and associated procurement records.
Coordinate internal approvals in line with delegated authority requirements.
Coordinate transport, freight and logistics activities to support project delivery requirements.
Liaise professionally with clients, suppliers, freight providers and internal stakeholders to maintain high service levels.
Maintain procurement registers, reporting and project documentation.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
Previous experience in project procurement, contracts administration or supply chain within the mining, engineering, construction or heavy industrial sectors.
Demonstrated experience managing tender processes, commercial evaluations and supplier negotiations.
Strong capability in commercial analysis, pricing equalisation and bid comparison.
Experience reviewing and negotiating supplier contracts and commercial terms.
Sound understanding of purchasing, expediting, freight and logistics coordination.
Experience with ERP systems
Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
