POSITION DETAILS
Part Time (0.5FTE), Maximum Term Contract until 30 June ****
Classification: SCHADS Level 4 with a salary range of $92,378 - $99,393 per annum (pro rata) + Superannuation
Location: Brisbane South (based in Logan but will be moving to Mt Gravatt in ****)

ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE
The Medicare Mental Health Phone Service is a part of a national Medicare Mental Health brand, that enables a consistent triage and streamlined transfer or referral to the most appropriate services.
A key objective of this service is local service integration to address fragmentation and offer a seamless care pathway for consumers to receive the right level of care at the right time to meet their mental health needs.
This is primarily a phone-based service, taking direct incoming referral calls through an established **** mental health intake number.
We're seeking an experienced and relationship-focused professional to lead stakeholder engagement and service integration across Brisbane South.
In this role, you'll:
Build and maintain strong partnerships through structured engagement plans, regular communication, and collaboration meetings.
Lead joint initiatives such as education sessions with stakeholders.
Analyse referral data to identify gaps, streamline processes, and strengthen escalation pathways.
Ensure service alignment with regional mental-health priorities through participation in planning meetings and pilot projects.
Embed continuous improvement by tracking KPIs, gathering partner feedback, and driving measurable system improvements.

What you will bring to the role
Formal tertiary qualification in a related field and/or equivalent experience working in a relevant setting.
Demonstrated understanding of the mental health sector or equivalent.
Experience working with consumer information systems, maintaining accurate documentation and data collection.
High level of interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
Strong emotional resilience including the ability to sit with discomfort, distress and people in crisis.
Proven ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision and to prioritise multiple tasks to meet conflicting deadlines.
Ability to establish respectful professional relationships that have clear boundaries with consumers, staff and partner organisations.
Ability to adapt communication style to meet the needs of a diverse range of people and identify changing needs within a group.
Transferable sector knowledge and experience.
Awareness of risk assessment and principals of risk management.
Commitment to trauma-informed, recovery-oriented, and culturally responsive practice.
Robust computer literacy.
What the role requires
National Criminal History Check (police check) - disclosable outcomes considered
Current Working with Children Check - HO is not required
Australian working rights
A valid driver's licence
Appropriate evidence of vaccinations as per the Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) requirements: Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps.
Rubella (MMR), Varicella (Chickenpox) and Pertussis (Whooping Cough)
