We are
currently seeking an experienced Maintenance
Worker to provide daily support to our residents at
Bethanie Geneff Aged Care Home and Retirement
Village.
This role
is offered on a Full-time Basis.
Monday - Friday *****
- *****pm
Renumeration:
$***** per hour.
The
Role
General maintenance
and light construction activities across Bethanie Peel under
the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor and Housing
Managers.
Carry
out general maintenance and light construction tasks across
sites.
Inspect vacant units
and scope required refurbishment works.
Inspect rooms/ units
when they become vacant, and scope up required refurbishment
works.
Foster
cooperative relationships with contractors, providing
feedback and guidance to drive continuous improvement and
ensure contractual obligations are consistently
met.
Participate in
team/departmental meetings and other organisation meetings as
required.

About
You
Trade
or maintenance background within the construction
industry
Experience in general
maintenance and light construction duties (or
equivalent)
Own a
current and valid driver's licence.
Time
management and organisational skills necessary for performance
at the required standard.
Ability to work
independently, as well as part of a team.
Ability to identify
workplace safety and operate in a safe manner.
A
genuine interest in working with and supporting older
people.
Current Police
Clearance, or willingness to apply for one.
