Randstad Recruitment are delighted to be supporting one of our major clients in their search for a Sales Engineer.

Since entering the Australian market ten years ago, our client has become the biggest supplier of rail connection systems in Australia and they are looking for a Sales Engineer to support the business as they continue to grow.

The successful candidate will be required to work with technicians to define scope of spare part sales, prepare technical drawings and assist the assessment of repairs.

They will also be responsible for supporting bids and tenders, sell technial concepts to customers and maintain skilled relationships working relationships.

key responsibilities

- Technical sales of spare parts and repairs
- Assist workshop technicians with assessment of repairs and overhauls
- Prepare technical bids
- Provide technical assistance to the Area Sales Manager
- Maintain process compliance
- Propose and implement continuous improvements of processes and tools

qualification

- 1+ years relevant experience
- Knowledge of Autodesk Inventor
- Hands on workshop experience
- Rail industry experience
