Northern NSW Local Health District is seeking a Locum GP / ED Doctor to assist with on-call coverage at a regional Multi-Purpose Service.
This role is suited to a GP with Emergency Department experience who is confident supporting rural presentations, providing clinical reviews, managing patient care and escalating appropriately when required.
Clinical Setting:
Regional MPS setting within Northern NSW LHD
GP / ED cover with on-call requirements
Supportive rural health service environment
Suitable for doctors with recent General Practice and Emergency Medicine experience
Key Duties:
Provide GP / ED on-call cover
Review and manage patient presentations as required
Support clinical decision-making and patient management
Complete documentation and handover
Escalate care appropriately when needed
Eligibility Criteria:
Current AHPRA Registration
Recent General Practice and Emergency Department experience
Strong clinical judgement and communication skills
Ability to work safely within scope and escalate appropriately
Current CV, references and compliance documents as required
