About the role
We’re looking for a hands-on Level 3 Support Engineer to join our Managed Service Provider team in Canberra. You’ll own complex escalations across Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, servers and cybersecurity while mentoring the team and delivering projects for SMB clients.

This is a senior technical role with real ownership, variety, and the chance to influence how we deliver service.

What you’ll do

- Act as an escalation point for complex incidents (Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Azure, Windows Server, networking and security)

- Lead and deliver client projects (migrations, security uplift, cloud deployments, onboarding)

- Design, build and maintain client environments (cloud, hybrid, on-prem)

- Perform root-cause analysis and implement permanent fixes

- Mentor Level 1/2 engineers and improve documentation and processes

- Attend client sites when required

- Research and introduce practical new technologies (including AI tools where they add real value)

What we’re looking for

- 5+ years’ experience in IT support or systems engineering,



ideally within an MSP or SMB environment

- Strong hands-on expertise across the Microsoft stack (Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Azure)

- Solid networking, Windows Server, Active Directory and virtualisation experience

- Practical cybersecurity knowledge and a security-first mindset

- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, ownership-driven approach

- Previous MSP experience is highly regarded

Bonus points

- Experience with RMM/PSA tools

- Hands-on cybersecurity projects or frameworks

- Side projects or lab work that show genuine curiosity

Requirements

- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident

- Current driver’s licence

- Standard office hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday–Friday
