Senior Project Engineer

Permanent, Full Time Opportunity

$118,270 - $126,021 plus superannuation (depending on skills and experience)

The Role

Working within the Design and Delivery Team, you will help engage and manage consultants to deliver innovative design documentation across a broad range of complex projects including roads, stormwater, footpaths, traffic, carparks, bridges and lighting. City of Mitcham has strong values in sustainability and innovation,



and this role is important to support these goals in how the capital works program is delivered.

You will also be responsible for providing specialist engineering advice, support and assistance to other employees within Council, as well as providing support to Project Engineers on developing and resolving moderately complex engineering problems.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, with demonstrated experience delivering civil infrastructure projects.
- Experience in the principles and practice of innovative design and construction across multiple asset categories.
- The ability to analyse complex problems and develop practical, cost-effective and cutting-edge engineering solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A collaborative approach across teams and stakeholders.
- White Card.
- Cert IV in Project Management (desirable)
- Workzone Traffic Management (desirable)
