About the role
The Radiographer delivers high-quality medical imaging services within the Department of Medical Imaging at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital and the Surgical Treatment and Rehabilitation Service (STARS). Working within a large tertiary healthcare environment, the role contributes to the provision of diagnostic, interventional and emergency imaging services across a range of modalities, including CT, MRI, angiography, ultrasound, general X-ray, fluoroscopy and mammography.
The successful candidate will provide professional and patient-focused imaging services, support the delivery of safe and effective clinical care, and contribute to the ongoing development of medical imaging practice. The role also offers opportunities to expand clinical expertise, participate in service improvement initiatives and support the education and development of students and less experienced staff.
About you

- Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging examinations while providing professional, compassionate and patient-centred care.
- Apply clinical judgement and technical expertise to perform routine and increasingly complex imaging procedures within scope of practice.
- Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams to support safe, effective and timely patient care.
- Provide clinical supervision,
education and support to students and less experienced staff while contributing to workforce development.
- Participate in quality assurance, service improvement, training and professional development activities that enhance imaging services and patient outcomes.
