Revenue NSW, Fines and Debt Support Officer Talent Pool - Future Employment Opportunities - Temp and Ongoing
Locations are flexible across our NSW offices (Parramatta, Gosford, Maitland, Lithgow or Wollongong). Hybrid working with regular office attendance in line with the DCS flexible working policy.
Salary: Clerk Grade 3/4 - $87,199 - $95,482 + Superannuation

We are seeking passionate and empathic individuals for a variety of roles and locations at Revenue NSW. This is a talent pool recruitment campaign only. Candidates assessed as suitable will remain in the talent pool for a period of 18 months and may be considered and contacted for future vacancies that arise during that time.

About Revenue NSW
Revenue NSW is the state's principal revenue management agency. Our purpose is to contribute to a prosperous, safe, and fair society by collecting revenue, resolving fines, administering grants, and recovering debt.
About the Team
In Fines & Debt, we administer the end-to-end fines and debt processes on behalf of more than 250 issuing authorities and business partners.
We work in a fast-paced customer focused environment delivering positive experiences for our customers whilst assisting the NSW Government in resolving fines and outstanding debt. Your infectious energy and passion for teamwork will be welcomed into a high performing operation.
What you will bring to the role
You are an excellent communicator, with a strong commitment to achieving results, exceptional customer service and strong attention to detail. You are comfortable and confident to navigate challenging conversations, displaying resilience and courage.
You will provide timely and accurate information and advice to NSW customers. You will be ensuring high levels of customer service and a quality customer experience which is easy, convenient, and as secure as possible.
Hours of work
Our teams operating hours are 7am-7pm, Monday to Friday. Team members work in a scheduled environment across a rotating roster. Flexibility is required to work between the team's operational hours Whilst hybrid working options are available, all roles must be worked 'principally' from an approved office location.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Prior experience in a contact centre, administrative or customer focused role
- Ability to work within a scheduled environment across a 7am to 7pm rotating roster
- The ability to deliver multiple customer service activities and services in line with business needs and expectations
- Proven ability in providing a range of administrative and processing tasks with accuracy and efficiency in a high-volume work environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to follow complex knowledge management processes.
- Skilled in the use of technology, including accurate typing skills and advanced competency in Microsoft suite and other business applications
In Person Assessment Centre
As part of the recruitment process, shortlisted candidates will be required to attend a 3-hour Assessment Centre in mid to late September. The assessment centres will be held across various Revenue NSW office locations and will include:
- Customer Service Role Play
- Work Task
- Behavioural-Based Interview
Following the Assessment Centre, successful candidates will be invited to undertake a video assessment.
