Tyrepower Bathurst is looking for a qualified Motor Mechanic to join our growing team. You’ll work alongside an experienced Workshop Foreman, carrying out vehicle servicing, registration inspections, and light diagnostic work on a wide variety of passenger and 4WD vehicles.

What’s on offer
- Salary of $80,000 – $90,000 (depending on experience)
- Per-registration inspection bonus on top of your salary
- Monday to Friday only – no weekends
- Consistent, full time hours
- Supportive team setting under an experienced Workshop Foreman

- Carry out light diagnostic and fault-finding work
- Complete repairs efficiently and to a high standard
- Maintain accurate job documentation
- Work closely with the Foreman to ensure quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Essential requirements
- Qualified Motor Mechanic (Certificate III or equivalent)
- Current NSW Registration Inspection Examiner (AUVIS) licence
- Current unrestricted Australian Driver Licence
- All relevant NSW licences and certifications required to perform the role
- Strong diagnostic and servicing skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude with pride in your workmanship
Desirable
- Experience working in a fast-paced workshop
- Air-conditioning licence (ARC)
- Wheel alignment experience
- Experience with electronic diagnostic equipment
