Harry the Hirer is the premier Event, Party & Exhibition Hire Company in Australia servicing Major Public and Private Events, including the Formula One Grand Prix and the Melbourne Cup Carnival.

We are currently seeking an experienced carpenter to join our Custom Builds team for an immediate start.

Your typical daily duties include the following, but are not limited to:

- Be experienced in the construction of various sized projects and the respective building principles which accompany them

- Have the ability to read build plans and think laterally when addressing on-site issues

- Be physically fit and able to work to deadlines

- Be adaptable with working hours, including weekends

- Hold a valid manual driver's Licence (preferred but not essential)

- Have the ability to work autonomously as well as in a team

Our work will take you all over the city and greater Melbourne with potential interstate work and offers a great opportunity to join a dynamic culture at the heart of the of the event and exhibition industry.
