Head of Operations

Sydney | $200k + super + bonus | 5 days in office

An established and highly regulated organisation is looking for an experienced Head of Operations to lead and develop a large operational function.

This is a senior leadership role for someone who has managed large teams, operated in a complex regulated environment, and can balance day-to-day operational excellence with longer-term transformation and improvement.

The Role

- Lead and develop a large, multi-disciplinary operations team
- Oversee critical operational processes and ensure high standards of service delivery
- Drive operational efficiency, process improvement and automation initiatives
- Strengthen controls, governance and risk management across the function
- Partner closely with senior stakeholders across the wider business
- Lead change initiatives and support the ongoing growth of the organisation
- Build a high-performing, accountable and collaborative team culture

About You

You will be an experienced operations leader with a proven track record of managing large teams within a regulated workplace.

You will ideally bring:

- Significant experience leading sizeable operational teams
- Strong understanding of governance, controls and operational risk




- Experience in a highly regulated or complex professional environment
- A track record of process improvement and operational transformation
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- The ability to operate strategically while remaining close to the detail
- A collaborative, adaptable and commercially minded approach

This is a 5-day-per-week office-based role in Sydney.
