About the Role

Reporting to the National Business Manager – Cowdroy, you’ll be responsible for developing recent business opportunities, managing existing accounts, and achieving sales targets within your designated territory. This is a hands-on role where your technical knowledge and customer service skills will shine.

Key Responsibilities

- Achieve sales budgets and targets

- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers





- Conduct regular customer visits and communications

- Provide detailed customer insights and competitor analysis

- Maintain accurate records in Phocas CRM

- Deliver professional sales presentations and product training

- Prepare quotes and pricing aligned with company guidelines

- Mentor new staff and Sales Cadets

- Participate in corporate events and contribute to a positive team culture

- Ensure compliance with ALG policies and WHS standards

What You’ll Bring

- A proven track record within Sales with at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry

- Industry experience in hardware, building products, or related fields

- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills

- Ability to work independently and travel interstate

- Customer-focused with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and establish strong relationships

- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

- Current Driver’s License

- Tertiary qualifications in sales, marketing, or business (desirable)
