St Aidan’s Anglican Girls’ School, one of Queensland’s leading independent schools for girls, is seeking applications from a dedicated administrator to join our community in a part-time, fixed-term role covering parental leave until 9 April 2027.

The Role

The Wellbeing House Reception role provides the initial contact point liaising with students, staff and the wider school community in the Wellbeing House. The role provides administration support to the Chaplaincy team.

This fixed-term position works 30 hours per week during school term time + 1 additional week in January before term 1 commences.

Some key responsibilities of the role include:

• Manage the daily administrative operations of the Chaplaincy team including scheduling meetings, arranging appointments, and coordinating required travel arrangements.

• Prepare and distribute correspondence, reports, and presentations on behalf and as directed by the Chaplain.

• Maintain accurate records, databases, and filing systems to ensure efficient retrieval of information.

• Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of special projects, events, and initiatives led by the Chaplain.

• Support with the planning and preparation of the annual Futures Conference

ABOUT YOU

• Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on communication and confidentiality.





• Proficiency in engaging with students across all age groups, fostering positive interactions.

• Confident and professional telephone etiquette, ensuring effective communication in all interactions.

• Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and with integrity.

• Proficient in utilising Internet Explorer and the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and School based software experience is highly desirable.

• Administration background or previous demonstrated experience in a similar role.

• School environment experience (will be valued).

• An ability to hold a Working with Children – Blue Card as issued by the Queensland Government

• An ability to hold current Senior First Aid and CPR Certificates.
