Join a Research Engineering team responsible for connecting research ideas to production at massive scale. You'll work across the entire research-to-production pipeline, identifying opportunities to make systems more efficient, effective, reliable, and scalable.

You'll tackle a wide variety of technically challenging projects, from external data ingestion and feature discovery to model validation, experiment tracking, bespoke algorithms, and innovative production rollouts.

Working closely with researchers, you'll operate in rapid feedback loops, understanding problems, developing solutions, testing ideas, and figuring out how to deploy them safely and effectively.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Designing and developing scalable data ingestion and research infrastructure.

- Building feature discovery, storage, validation, and experimentation systems.

- Developing and deploying bespoke algorithms and novel technical solutions.

- Improving the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of research-to-production pipelines.

- Working closely with researchers to understand problems and translate ideas into practical engineering solutions.

- Identifying integration challenges and opportunities across different teams and systems.

- Selecting the right technologies and approaches for each problem rather than relying on a single technical specialism.

- Working across Python, C++, internal domain-specific languages, and new technologies as required.

- Supporting safe, efficient, and scalable deployment of research innovations into production.
