We are looking for our next Accountant. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this position offers broad exposure across accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, reconciliations, compliance, month end reporting, BAS and FBT. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external advisors to ensure accurate financial reporting, robust controls, and compliance across the business.

This role would be particularly well suited to a candidate with public accounting experience who is looking to move into a commercial environment and gain exposure to the day-to-day financial operaitons of a dynamic organisaiton.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage Accounts Payable, including invoice processing, supplier reconciliaitons, payment runs, and supplier enquiries

- Process fortnightly payroll and support payroll compliance requirements

- Prepare month end journals, accruals, and financial reconciliations

- Maintain the fixed asset register and process depreciation journals





- Prepare monthly BAS and PAYG information and support annual FBT requirements

- Assist with cash flow reporting, budgeting, audits, and year end financial processes

- Support the preparation of financial reports and management reporting

- Maintain accurate financial records, controls, and documented processes

- Liaise with external accountants, auditors, financial institutions, regulators, and other stakeholders

- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting, and efficiencies

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- A tertiary qualificaiton in Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline

- Minimum 3 years experience in an accounting or finance role

- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting requirements

- Experience preparing BAS, PAYG, reconciliations, and month-end process

- Previous experience in public practice/public accounting will be highly regarded and may provide a strong foundaiton for success in this role
