Youth Program Workers – Multiple Opportunities

MADEC is recruiting passionate Youth Program Workers to support the delivery of our Youth Empowerment Support Service (YESS) and Pathways to Independence (PTI) programs.
We have multiple opportunities available with flexible employment options ranging from 20 to 38 hours per week.

About the Role
As a Youth Program Worker, you will:
- Build positive, professional relationships with young people.
- Deliver individual and group-based youth programs.
- Support young people to develop life skills, confidence and independence.
- Assist participants to access education, employment, training and community opportunities.
- Facilitate workshops, activities and community engagement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate participant records and case notes.
- Work collaboratively with community organisations, schools and referral partners.
- Contribute to a positive, safe and inclusive environment for young people.
About You

- Can manage competing priorities while maintaining quality outcomes.
- Is committed to safeguarding and person-centred practice.
Essential Requirements
- Qualification (or working towards) in Community Services, Youth Work or a related field.
- Current Queensland Driver Licence.
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
- National Police Check.
- Current First Aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain).
- Experience working with vulnerable young people, employment programs or community services will be highly regarded.
