This isn't your typical project management role.
Join Infrastructure NT and play a key role in planning and delivering the Northern Territory's most significant enabling infrastructure projects, including Territory Energy Link and the Darwin Regional Water Supply Program.
Working alongside a high-performing, multidisciplinary team, you'll help drive projects from concept through planning and pre-construction to construction readiness. You will manage complex investigations, procurements, governance and stakeholder relationships that will support the Territory's economic growth for decades to come.

The Role
As Principal Project Manager, you'll provide high-level project and program management support across major infrastructure initiatives, including:
- Leading project planning, scheduling, risk and cost management.
- Developing scopes and managing technical investigations and consultant contracts.
- Supporting procurement and governance for major infrastructure programs.
- Building strong relationships across government, industry and project stakeholders.
- Helping progress strategic projects through planning and pre-construction.
- Travel to regional and remote areas to undertake fieldwork, oversee investigations and engage with stakeholders.
About you
- High level written and verbal communication.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex infrastructure or major projects.
- Strong project management skills, including risk, scheduling and project controls.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
- A tertiary qualification in project or program management (or similar) is desirable, along with experience in major civil infrastructure projects.
