Project Manager (Infrastructure)

Fixed-Term (2 Years), Full Time Opportunity

$118,270 - $126,021 plus superannuation (depending on skills and experience)

Due to an internal promotion, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager to manage the delivery and design of construction projects across Council. The initial focus will be on the delivery of an exciting project upgrading Waite Street Reserve in Blackwood!

The Role

Working within the Engineering Team, you will manage the delivery and design of construction projects for projects that are constructed by day labour. You will evaluate proposals, ensuring all economic, environmental, community,



and practical requirements have been considered.

You will also provide specialist advice to other employees within Council, and lead Council’s community consultation for the delivery of capital works projects.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
- Cert IV in Project Management is highly desirable.
- Experience in managing complex projects, including scoping, design, stakeholder management and construction.
- Experience in the interpretation and application of relevant standards, code and guidelines.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
- Committed to placing the customer at the centre of everything we do.
