We are managed by the wonderful Eagle Junction State School Parents and Citizens Association with a capacity of 270 places. EJ Kids’ Care is a place where love, care, and professionalism come together! Responsibilities

- Collaborate: Work with the Nominated Supervisor and Educational Leader to plan engaging, educational, and fun activities.

- Document:



Support program documentation and observations to contribute to a high-quality educational experience.

- Engage: Actively participate in activities with children, bringing your own enthusiasm to each interaction.

- Safety First: Maintain a clean and safe environment, ensuring the space is welcoming and secure.

- Improve: Engage in Continuous Improvement processes and self-assessment against National Quality Standards.

- Connect: Build and nurture positive, respectful relationships with children and families.

Skills and Experience

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Initiative and problem-solving abilities to handle various situations with creativity.

- Strong time management and organizational skills.

- A collaborative spirit and a "can-do" attitude toward new challenges.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Age Requirement: Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

- Mandatory Training: Completion of the "Foundations of Child Safety Training" (or a commitment to complete this as a requirement of employment).

- Blue Card: A current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).

- Education: Ideally studying or holding an ACECQA-approved Certificate, Diploma, or Degree.

- Health & Safety: Senior First Aid, CPR, and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain these).

Hours & Salary

- Hours: Up to 25 hours per week on a rotating roster. Applicants must be available at least three afternoons per week.

- Operating Times: Mon–Fri (7:00–8:45 am & 2:45–6:00 pm). Vacation Care (7:00 am–6:00 pm).

- Salary: $31.20 to $39.16 per hour, with a 3% Above Award rate after successful completion of a 6-month period.
