'Steeline FNW' is a leading manufacturer and distributor, in the steel and construction industry, and is seeking enthusiastic, highly motivated, and customer-focused Sales Person/s to join our team in Toowoomba, Qld.

This is a full-time position based at our Harristown location, where you will be at the heart of our customer experience. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service, driving sales, and building lasting relationships with our customers. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your retail skills within a dynamic and supportive workplace.

What you'll be doing -

Greeting customers warmly and providing knowledgeable advice about our products and services

Processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently, using point-of-sale systems

Identifying customer needs, recommending appropriate products to enhance their shopping experience

Maintaining a clean, organised, and visually appealing, retail environment

Handling customer enquiries, and resolving issues professionally and courteously

Achieving personal, and team sales targets, through excellent customer engagement

Restocking shelves and displays with merchandise

Supporting inventory management and stock control proceedures

Working collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations

Promoting special offers to customers

Forklift licence is an advantage

What we're looking for -

Previous retail or customer service experience is advantageous

Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage customers effectively

Basic numeracy skills for handling cash and processing transactions

The ability to work as part of a team, and independently when required

Reliability and a skilled attitude towards attendance and punctuality





Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift merchandise

Flexibility to work retail hours, including some weekends, as required

A positive attitude and willingness to learn

Current forklift licence and experience is an advantage
