Our café named BOOSA Cafe is seeking 2-3 experienced baristas / Cook/ Chef and customer-focused all-rounders to join the team to gear up for busy period.

Key Responsibilities

- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook authentic Middle Eastern and Levantine dishes using fresh, quality ingredients.
- Kitchen Standards: Maintain strict food safety, hygiene, and allergen control procedures.
- Service Efficiency: Work calmly and efficiently under high pressure during busy service hours.
- Team Support: Assist with stock rotation, inventory control, and keeping the kitchen clean and organised.

Requirements & Skills

- Experience: Minimum 2 years of commercial kitchen experience, with specific background in Middle Eastern, Lebanese, or Mediterranean cuisine or English Cafe/Restaurant.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of spice profiles, grilling, and traditional preparation methods.
- Qualifications: Valid Food Safety Supervisor certificate or relevant culinary qualifications.

- At least 1 year of barista experience (including a minimum of 6 months in Australia) . Familiar to to opening and closing especially deep clean for grinders and machines
- Confidence in dialling in, delivering consistent service, and maintaining a clean, organised bar
- Solid communication skills — clear and professional English is essential
- A genuine customer-focused attitude, ability to stay calm under pressure, and a team-player mindset
- Dependable, proactive, and take pride in your work

- All rounders should be:
- Experienced with taking orders and POS operation
- Comfortable chatting with customers and creating a friendly atmosphere
- Passionate about customer service
- Able to remember regulars' names and favourite orders
- Flexible and willing to work at our busy South Yarra location
- Reliable, energetic and able to work in a fast-paced environment

Hospitality experience preferred.
